Michael Corob

Michael has known since he was a child that he is an artist, and that with his art he could add love to the world. He earned a degree in art, and he has taught art and helped children and adults with special needs for 35 years. In has second career, he helps adults with disabilities who live in a group home. Michael is inspired by the life force in flowers and birds, and uses his perception and imagination to express his response. His ink, watercolor, and pastel paintings are active and dynamic.

Michael his shown his paintings at fairs, festivals, coffee houses and galleries on the central coast. He exhibits his work at the Cypress Gallery in Lompoc, where he teaches classes, gives demonstrations and shares book readings. Michael lives with his wife of 44 years, Carrie, and their kitty, Billie in Santa Maria, California.
